According to a study published by the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, the level of maximal fat metabolism takes place when exercising between 60.2 and 80 percent of maximum heart rate. If you sustain this moderate intensity of only 54.2 percent of maximal oxygen uptake for one hour, then about 50 percent of the calories you use for fuel will come from fat. The percentage of calories from fat will increase as the exercise duration is extended. Make sure that you check what your fat burning cardio range is base on your weight, age and height.
Step Two: Exercise your thighs. One of the best exercises to lose thigh fat is to Squat with a Ball.
- Place an exercise ball between the wall and the curve of your lower back.
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Bend your knees and lower 5 to 10 inches, keeping your shoulders level and your hips square. Hold this position for 3 seconds and then stand back up.
- Start with 5 reps and work up to 12. Rest for 30 seconds and do another set.
This exercise routine will do two things for you: strengthen your inner thigh muscles and burn thigh fat. In combination with the cardiovascular exercise that you will be doing 3 to 5 times a week, you should be able to lose thigh fat fast!
